, then give it your friends blind. There will be more releases of peaty Amrut, but this first one is very limited. Amrut matures in India at higher altitude and temperature and seems to mature remarkably quickly.

It appears as if the world is going a little crazy about this whisky. A few whisky luminaries were given samples and they all gave slightly shocked responses at just how good this stuff is. We can't wait to get our hands on it. 2 bottles per customer maximum

Compass Box Peat Monster Tasting Note

Nose: Peat, marked salinity, leans to Caol Ila in style, something medicinal. Sweet and fruity, grainy.
Palate: Peat, oak. Botanicals, floral, coppery, sweet, smoky bacon, hint of papaya.
Finish: A lingering sweetness, more peat, floral: roses and violets, sweet spice, oak.
